What’s in this Version
Serviceguard Manager version A.05.00 was released to support
Serviceguard A.11.17 on HP-UX. You can use it to create and modify
configuration of Serviceguard A.11.16 and A.11.17 clusters and failover
packages.
These features are new to version A.05.00:
• Support for Serviceguard version A.11.17.
• You can now administer system multi-node packages through
Serviceguard Manager, although you must use the command line to
create or modify their configuration.
System multi-node packages and multi-node packages do not have
symbols on the map and tree; they are clusterwide, so look to the
cluster symbol for information. Select the cluster to see
administrative options. Their properties are included in the cluster’s
properties.
• You can open Serviceguard Manager from the menus in OpenView,
NMM, OVO, and HP Systems Insight Manager.
• New in Properties:
— If your cluster has a multi-node package configured, you will see
information about it in the Cluster Properties, along with any
configured system multi-node packages. Multi-node packages are
new to Serviceguard A.11.17.
— If your cluster has any package dependencies configured, their
status and configuration information will be in a new tab in
Package Properties and also in Cluster Properties. Dependencies
are new to Serviceguard A.11.17.
— Lock disks are now discovered and monitored.
— Network properties now has information about IP over IB (HP
Fabric Clustering System for InfiniBand).
