Compatibility Information and Installation Requirements
Chapter 1 19
Port Requirements
ServiceGuard Manager itself does not need a reserved port.
It communicates with ServiceGuard through the ports reserved for
ServiceGuard in /etc/services and listed as HA Cluster (hacl) ports.
The Event Browser in ServiceGuard Manager can receive messages from
SNMP traps. SNMP requires ports 161 and 162. The list of port
assignments is in the /etc/services file.
Because SNMP uses a single dedicated port, only one application can
receive messages. For more information, open online help and go to
Troubleshooting Clusters, SNMP Problems.
