ServiceGuard Manager Version A.02.01 Release Notes
What’s in this Version
Chapter 16
Packages are normally configured to have at least one failover node, but
some have been purposely configured to run on one a single node, for
example, packages in theOPS environment. Thesepackages will have no
failover warning state: they will be green if they are running as
configured, and they will turn red when they go down.
Packages that are configured for only one node will have an
informational single-node badge beside them.
You can still do common administration commands to any ServiceGuard
cluster objects on your map, whether the cluster is running on Linux or
HP-UX. The commands are issued to the cluster through an eligible
HP-UX server. (See “Compatibility Information and Installation
Requirements,” below, for details.)
Now, ServiceGuard Manager can be integrated into OVO (OpenView
Operations) and VPO 6.0 as well as OpenView’s Network Node Manager
or IT/Operations.
