Patches and Fixes in this Version
This section lists required patches, defects that have been fixed in this
version, and current known defects and workarounds.
Required and Recommended Patches
No patches are required for ServiceGuard Manager itself.
However, if you want to administration commands, you need to connect
to an HP-UX server that has ServiceGuard A.11.13. The server needs
two patches:
You need one HP-UX patch for ServiceGuard A.11.13 itself:
PHSS_24678. To see if you have this patch installed, enter: swlist
|grep “PHSS_24678”
You need one HP-UX patch for the Cluster Object Manager, which is
automatically installed with ServiceGuard (PHSS_22175). To see if
you have the correct patch installed, enter: swlist |grep “Cluster
Object Manager” The version should be A.01.03.01.
Before you use the SNMP Event Browser, install two patches on all
HP-UX nodes in the clusters that will send SNMP traps to your
ServiceGuard Manager SNMP Event Browser. The patch numbers are:
PHSS_26724 (for HP-UX 10.x)
PHSS_26725 (for HP-UX 11.x)
ServiceGuard Manager installs its own JRE (Java Runtime
Environment). Check for defects for each platform’s JRE:
On HP-UX 11.0 and 11.11, ServiceGuard Manager will automatically
install JRE Version 1.3.1.
On HP-UX 11.22, ServiceGuard Manager will automatically install
JRE Version 1.3.1.04.
Check your operating system for patches:
