Patches and Fixes in this Version

• What is the problem? On Linux, Japanese online help shows hyphens
rendered as square characters.
• What is the workaround? There is none. The effect is only cosmetic,
but is noted to prevent any confusion.

• What is the problem? The ServiceGuard Manager interface stops
interacting with server.
Under extreme stress, on one occasion ServiceGuard Manager did
seemed to stop interacting with the back-end. While it did not report
any errors, the spinning logo was spinning and the GUI was
responsive to user actions but the polling count-down time was not
advancing.
• What is the workaround? Restart ServiceGuard Manager.

• What is the problem? The -c option of the sgmgr command may not
work correctly.
If the -s <server> option is given in the command, the Welcome dialog
box may contain an old history of clusters viewed instead of the
clusters currently named in the command.
What is the workaround? When using the command, specify the -s
<server> option, or retype the Clusters to View.

• What is the problem? Incorrect behavior with Install Shield automatic
uninstall.
When installing a new version of ServiceGuard Manager on Windows,
Install Shield tries to uninstall any older versions. However, if you try
to install Version A.02.00 over A.01.01, you may get two
ServiceGuard Managers installed, and the uninstall command may
be limited.
What is the workaround? Uninstall old versions of ServiceGuard
Manager before installing a new version. Use Start -> Programs ->
ServiceGuard Manager -> Uninstall.
