ServiceGuard Manager Version A.02.00 Release Notes
Patches and Fixes in this Version

• What is the problem? Before halting a node, ServiceGuard Manager
may report a misleading number of packages to be halted. The
reported number correctly includes the number of regular packages,
which are visible on the map, but it also counts system multi-node
packages, which are not visible on a map.
• What is the workaround? Realize that halting a node will effect all
user packages that are running on it, but it will not effect the
high-availability of system multi-node packages. System multi-node
packages are listed in the Cluster Properties, and can only be
administered at the cluster level.

• What is the problem? Tree could expand more than one cluster if you
left-click and then right-click on cluster objects in the map.
By design, if you select a node or package on the map, you should be
able to see that object on the tree. If necessary, the tree should expand
so that you can see it.
If you left-click on one item in the tree to select it, the tree will
expand. If you then right-click on another node or package (to bring
up the menu, for example), the selection changes. When you close the
menu, the selection highlight reverts back to its original value, but
the right-click selection is remembered. Later, if you bring up a new
menu by right clicking on the map, the tree is told it must show the
remembered selection. If the remembered selection is not visible, it
will expand.
• What is the workaround? Collapse unwanted parts of the tree by
clicking the little box to the left of the cluster name.

• What is the problem? Administration messages are not always in
right word order. Some hard-coded messages were written for English
only. They insert variable names into sentences that make sense only
in English. If the word order is not English, the translations are
worded awkwardly.
• What is the workaround? There is no workaround.
