1 Serviceguard Extension for SAP on Linux Version A.03.00 Release Notes Announcements The HP Serviceguard Extension for SAP on Linux Version A.03.00 (SGeSAP/LX) extends failover cluster capabilities of HP Serviceguard for Linux to SAP application environments. It provides a framework of package templates to easily define cluster packages that protect various components of a mission-critical SAP infrastructure.
Support of SAP ABAP and JAVA System Central Services SAP Netweaver kernels get installed with a separate instance that isolates mission-critical, central software components. One or two of these separate instances can now be included in any SGeSAP/LX package to support SAP JAVA-only, ABAP-only, JAVA/ABAP double-stack, and add-in installations.
NOTE: Due to the SAP policies, only HP Storageworks fca22xx HBA’s (driver 7.00.03 and above) are supported to achieve disk connectivity.
