Cluster management overview
HP Serviceguard Management Agents and providers
Serviceguard clusters can be easily managed and monitored by industry-standard management tools
through industry-standard management agents. These include SNMP agents and WBEM providers for
Serviceguard on HP-UX and Linux.
The HP Serviceguard SNMP sub-agent provides an interface to allow you to retrieve cluster-related
information such as cluster configuration and status changes and sends traps when appropriate.
The HP Serviceguard WBEM Providers provide current Serviceguard cluster configuration,
membership, and status information to Common Information Model (CIM) clients using HP WBEM
Services on HP platforms.
