yesThis parameter determines whether
ASM is being used to manage the
storage for the database instance.
ASM
You can set the value either to yes
or no. Set this parameter to yes if
ASM is used, otherwise set to no.
The default value is no.
openThis parameter defines the Oracle
database startup mode. Valid
START_MODE
options are nomount, mount, and
open. The default mode is open.
yesThis option indicates whether the
Oracle listener must be started and
LISTENER
stopped as part of the Oracle
database instance package. You
can set the option to yes or no.
The default value is yes.
Set to yes if you want this toolkit to
start and stop the Oracle Listener.
NOTE: If this attribute is set to no,
you must comment the
LISTENER_NAME and
oracle_listener_service
attributes. For example:
#LISTENER_NAME
LISTENERThis parameter contains the names
of the Oracle listener processes. You
LISTENER_NAME
can add more than one listener
name by adding to the array
variable LISTENER_NAME. The
default value is LISTENER.
ora123The passwords of the listener
processes.
LISTENER_PASS
This parameter is commented by
default.
2This parameter defines the number
of attempts to be made to restart the
LISTENER_RESTART
listener. If the listener does not restart
after LISTENER_RESTART number
of consecutive attempts, the package
fails over.
If the listener restart is successful,
then the next time listener fails, the
toolkit again tries
