3 Installing and uninstalling HP Serviceguard toolkit for NFS
To install the RPM of HP Serviceguard toolkit for NFS:
On Red Hat, run the following command:
# rpm -ivh serviceguard-nfs-toolkit-<release_version>.redhat.noarch.rpm
The files are installed in the following directories:
${SGCONF}/nfstoolkit
${SGCONF}/modules/tkit/nfs
${SGCONF}/scripts/tkit/nfs
/usr/bin
NOTE: You must verify and remove any previous version of HP Serviceguard toolkit for NFS
before installing the new RPM of the HP Serviceguard toolkit for NFS on Linux.
Verify the RPM for the HP Serviceguard toolkit for NFS on Linux using the following command:
# rpm -qa |grep nfs-toolkit
To uninstall the HP Serviceguard toolkit for NFS on Linux, run the following command:
# rpm -e <toolkit name retrieved after executing the # rpm qa | grep
nfs-toolkit>

synchronizing the current mount table,
sync_rmtab
/var/lib/nfs/rmtab, on the client
node in case of NFS package failover.
During NFS package failover, this
synchronization process ensures
seamless NFS client access. The NFS
control script, hanfs.sh invokes the
synchronization program when the
remote mount table is to be
synchronized.
