Table 6. CLX EVA cluster attributes and SG/LX cluster attributes
Component
CLX EVA attributes
Corresponding SG/LX Metrocluster
attributes
Description
Attributes
UseNonCurrentDataOk
DT_APPLICATION_STARTUP_POLICY
If UseNonCurrentDataOk is set to “YES”,
then, configure
DT_APPLICATION_STARTUP_POLICY to
“Availability_Preferred”
If UseNonCurrentDataOk is set to “NO”,
then, configure
DT_APPLICATION_STARTUP_POLICY to
“Data_Currency_Preferred”.
DC_A_StorageCellWWN
DC1_STORAGE_WORLD_WIDE_NAME
In CLX, the WWN is specified without “-
“whereas in Metrocluster “-“ needs to be
specified. For example, If DC_A_
StorageCellWWN has value
“50001FE15002B5A0” then in Metrocluster,
DC1_STORAGE_WORLD_WIDE_NAME must
be specified as “5000-1FE1-5002-B5A0”
DC_B_StorageCellWWN
DC2_STORAGE_WORLD_WIDE_NAME
In CLX, the WWN is specified without “-
“whereas in Metrocluster “-“ needs to be
specified. For example, If DC_B_
StorageCellWWN has value
“50001FE15002B570” then in Metrocluster,
DC2_STORAGE_WORLD_WIDE_NAME must
be specified as “5000-1FE1-5002-B570”
DeviceGroup
DR_GROUP_NAME
In Metrocluster, the device group is
mentioned without the complete path. For
example: In CLX, if DeviceGroup has value
\Data Replication\DRG031” then in
Metrocluster, DR_GROUP_NAME must be
specified as “DRG031”
DC_A_Hosts
DC1_HOST_LIST
In CLX, the hosts must be separated with
space whereas in Metrocluster, the hosts
are separated with comma. For example, In
CLX, if DC_A_Hosts has value “node1
node2” then in Metrocluster,
DC1_HOST_LIST must be specified as
“node1, node2”.
DC_B_Hosts
DC2_HOST_LIST
In CLX, the hosts must be separated with
space whereas in Metrocluster, the hosts
are separated with comma. For example, In
CLX, if DC_B_Hosts has value “node3
node4” then in Metrocluster,
DC2_HOST_LIST must be specified as
“node3, node4”.
DC_A_ManagementHosts
DC1_SMIS_LIST
In CLX, the SMIS hosts must be separated
with space whereas in Metrocluster, the
SMIS hosts are separated with comma.
DC_B_ManagementHosts
DC2_SMIS_LIST
In CLX, the SMIS hosts must be separated
with space whereas in Metrocluster, the
SMIS hosts are separated with comma.
ApplicationStartup
WAIT_TIME
WAIT_TIME Metrocluster parameter is
equivalent to ResyncWaitTimeout CLX
parameter when ApplicationStartup CLX
parameter is set to “RESYNCWAIT”. This
parameter defines the timeout, in minutes,
to wait for
completion of the data merging or copying
for the DR group
before startup of the package on
destination volume.
ResyncWaitTimeout
