On Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5:
1. Check the Serviceguard version installed on your system by running the command:
#rpm -q serviceguard
2. If the Serviceguard version is A.11.19.xx, upgrade the Serviceguard version to A.11.20.10
and serviceguard-xdc version to A.11.20.10. For information on upgrading to Serviceguard
A.11.20.10 and serviceguard-xdc A.11.20.10, see Upgrading to HP Serviceguard
A.11.20.10 and serviceguard-xdc A.11.20.10.
3. If the Serviceguard version is A.11.20.00:
a. Download the SGLX_00339.tar.shar file.
b. Run the following command:
#sh SGLX_00339.tar.shar
The contents of the .shar file are:
SGLX_00339.doc
install
SGLX_00339.tar
c. Extract the patch files from the SGLX_00339.tar file.
d. Run sgupdate script, and follow the instructions provided in the install file to install
the serviceguard-xdc rpm.
On Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6:
1. Check the Serviceguard version installed on your system by running the command:
#rpm -q serviceguard
2. If the Serviceguard version is A.11.19.xx, upgrade the Serviceguard version to A.11.20.10
and serviceguard-xdc version to A.11.20.10. For information on upgrading to Serviceguard
A.11.20.10 and serviceguard-xdc A.11.20.10, see Upgrading to HP Serviceguard
A.11.20.10 and serviceguard-xdc A.11.20.10.
3. If the Serviceguard version is A.11.20.00:
a. Download the SGLX_00340.tar.shar file.
b. Run the following command:
#sh SGLX_00340.tar.shar
The contents of the .shar file are:
SGLX_00340.doc
install
SGLX_00340.tar
c. Extract the patch files from the SGLX_00340.tar file.
d. Run sgupdate script, and follow the instructions provided in the install file to install
the serviceguard-xdc rpm.
On SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11:
1. Check the Serviceguard version installed on your system by running the command:
#rpm -q serviceguard
2. If the Serviceguard version is A.11.19.xx, upgrade the Serviceguard version to A.11.20.10
and serviceguard-xdc version to A.11.20.10. For information on upgrading to Serviceguard
A.11.20.10 and serviceguard-xdc A.11.20.10, see Upgrading to HP Serviceguard
A.11.20.10 and serviceguard-xdc A.11.20.10.
3. If the Serviceguard version is A.11.20.00:
