Serviceguard load sensitive placement of packages Serviceguard load sensitive placement for packages enables packages to be placed in such a way that package weights are distributed evenly among the cluster nodes based on each node's capacity. For more information about load balancing see Managing HP Serviceguard A.12.00.00 for Linux manual.
New behavior during online reconfiguration of the package Serviceguard supports non-disruptive online modification of packages, so the packages will not fail due to any error during online reconfiguration. For more information see Managing HP Serviceguard A.12.00.00 for Linux manual. License Information Serviceguard for Linux A.12.00.00 requires licenses on per-socket basis.

Deprecated or obsolete features Deprecated or obsolete features in Serviceguard The following features are deprecated or obsolete from Serviceguard in this version: • The sg/persistent_res module and the persistent_res.sh control script are obsolete. Instead, you must use the sg/pr_cntl module and pr_cntl.sh control script.
