These components are also supported if they come as part of SAP Netweaver 2004, 2004s, or

Supported Database versions generally are those that are supported by SAP for the respective SAP
application version. Note the following restrictions that limit the highest versions of a single-instance
database that can be used—Oracle version 11gR2 and MaxDB version 7.9 are the highest
supported release versions for modular packages; Oracle version 11gR2 and MaxDB version 7.7
are the highest supported release versions for legacy packages. Supported IBM DB2 UDB versions
are version 9.5, 9.7, and version 10.19.7. Configurations that utilize the DB2 HADR feature are
currently not supported.
The initially supported version of the Sybase database RDBMS is SAP Sybase ASE 15.7.
The liveCache-based enqueue lock server is not supported.
SAP Adaptive Computing Controller functionality and SAP Landscape Virtualization Manager is
not supported in combination with SGeSAP high-availability failover.
SAP NetWeaver MDM 7.1 was tested up to SP08.
Starting with Serviceguard A.11.18, a new implementation approach to packages was introduced,
called modular packages. Packages that were created with previous versions of SGeSAP are
referred to as legacy packages. SGeSAP B.05.10 supports Serviceguard modular packages and
Serviceguard legacy packages. Both approaches can be used simultaneously within a single cluster.
