If you are running VxVM 3.5 (as part of the BaseProduct included with HP-UX), you can do a rolling upgrade toServiceguard A.11.18 on HP-UX 11i v3 with VxVM 4.1.Native Multipathing, Veritas DMP, and Related FeaturesThe HP-UX 11i v3 I/O subsystem provides multipathing and loadbalancing by default. This is often referred to as native multipathing.Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) version 4.1 and Dynamic Multipathing(DMP) from Symantec are supported on HP-UX 11i v3, but do notprovide multipathing and load balancing; DMP acts as a pass-throughdriver, allowing multipathing and load balancing to be controlled by theHP-UX I/O subsystem instead.
