Serviceguard Extension for RAC Version A.11.18 Release NotesWhat’s in this VersionChapter 1 15Support for the SGeRAC ToolkitThe SGeRAC Toolkit provides documentation and scripts to simplify theintegration of SGeRAC and the Oracle 10g RAC stack. It also managesthe dependency between Oracle Clusterware and Oracle RAC instanceswith a full range of storage management options supported in theServiceguard and SGeRAC environment.The framework provided by the SGeRAC toolkit is unique in the highlevel of multi-vendor (Oracle, Symantec, HP) and multi-storage platform(CFS, SLVM, CVM, ASM over SLVM) integration it offers.SGeRAC toolkit uses the multi-node package and simple packagedependency features integrated with HP Serviceguard and SGeRACversion A.11.18, which provides a uniform, easy-to-manage and intuitivemethod to coordinate the operations of the SGeRAC and OracleClusterware combined software stack.
