Announcements
The second edition is revised with content for HP-UX 11i v2 September
2004 update (also known as HP-UX 11i v2 update 2). Updates for this
version include, support for HP-UX 11i v2 on HP 9000 servers and HP
Integrity servers, support for Faster Detection of Crashed Oracle
Processes.
Serviceguard Extension for RAC (SGeRAC, formerly known as
Serviceguard OPS Edition or MC/LockManager) is a specialized facility
that provides the framework for using Oracle Real Application Cluster
software on HP 9000 systems.
Serviceguard Extension for RAC (SGeRAC) must be used with
Serviceguard, which provides general purpose clustering. Starting with
Version A.11.15, SGeRAC has been de-coupled from Serviceguard. For
SGeRAC A.11.16, Serviceguard A.11.16 must be installed as a
prerequisite product. Most of the capabilities of Serviceguard are
available as well when using SGeRAC. For detailed information on

update.

released on HP-UX 11i v1 and HP-UX 11i v2 with the following product
