EBS licensing requirements
For Oracle E-Business Suite, only the processor which runs the target database must be counted
for determining the number of licenses required. Oracle's data recovery licensing policy http://
www.oracle.com/corporate/pricing/data-recovery-licensing.pdf mentions that the database can
run on a server temporarily for a period shorter than 10 days in a year. This means that if the DB
Tier fails over, it has to be failed back to the licensed server node within a short period of time.
