HP Serviceguard Extension for Oracle E-business Suite toolkit provides high availability to Oracle
E-Business Suite in a Serviceguard cluster. This toolkit consists of configuration templates and
scripts that enable easy integration of Oracle E-Business Suite with HP Serviceguard.
This toolkit is new and is available on the High Availability OE (HA OE) and Data Center OE
(DC OE).
The HP Serviceguard Extension for Oracle E-business Suite toolkit is available in the following
ways:
• HP-UX Application Release (AR)
— High Availability Operating Environment (HA OE) on HP-UX 11i v3.
— Data Center Operating Environment (DC OE) on HP-UX 11i v3.
• Download from the HP software depot at http://software.hp.com.
What’s in this Version
HP Serviceguard Extension for Oracle E-Business Suite toolkit includes:
• Support for HP Serviceguard versions:
— A.11.19 on HP-UX 11i v2 and HP-UX 11i v3.
— A.11.20 on HP-UX 11i v3.
• Support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12 for HP Integrity Servers.
• Support for Oracle Database.
— Oracle RDBMS 11g R1 for HP Integrity Servers.
• Support for HP-UX 11i v2 and HP-UX 11i v3 systems.
• High availability for single instance database tier and single instance application tier.
• Support for modular style package.
NOTE:
• At time of publication, version B.01.00 of the HP Serviceguard Extension for Oracle E-Business
Suite Toolkit supports the listed versions of HP Serviceguard and HP-UX. For more recent
versions of these products that are certified with this version, see the compatibility matrix

• HP Serviceguard Extension for Oracle E-Business Suite does not support Oracle RAC.

Compatibility
The HP Serviceguard Extension for Oracle E-Business Suite Toolkit requires the installation of
supported versions of the HP-UX operating system together with HP Serviceguard.
