Fixes
The following defects have been fixed in HP Serviceguard Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit version
B.07.00.01.
QXCR1001353866 Problem: In the ECMT Oracle Toolkit, cmcheckconf may hang during
package validation and the Oracle toolkit package may log one or all of
the following package validation failure messages to the syslog file.
Example log message:
"May 28 22:53:40 node1 syslog: Unable to get Oracle database version on node1."
“May 28 22:56:40 node1 syslog: CLUSTER VERIFICATION: ORACLE_HOME is not defined in
package configuration file”
“May 28 22:57:40 node1 syslog: CLUSTER VERIFICATION: $ORACLE_HOME does not exist”
"May 28 22:60:40 node1 syslog: CLUSTER VERIFICATION: ORACLE_ADMIN is not defined in
package configuration file"
QXCR1001353869 Problem: In the ECMT DB2 Toolkit, cmcheckconf may hang during
package validation and the DB2 toolkit package may log one or all of the
following package validation failure messages to the syslog.
Example log message:
"May 28 22:53:40 node1 syslog: Unable to get DB2 version on node1."
“May 28 22:54:40 CLUSTER VERIFICATION: INSTANCE_NAME is not defined in package
configuration file”
“May 28 22:54:40 CLUSTER VERIFICATION: sg_version_on_node1: 11.31”
QXCR1001353870 Problem: In the ECMT Sybase Toolkit, cmcheckconf may hang during
package validation and the Sybase toolkit package may log one or all of
the package validation failure messages to the syslog
Example log message:
"May 28 22:53:40 node1 syslog: CLUSTER VERIFICATION: Unable to get Sybase ASE version
on node1."
QXCR1001343590 Problem: If sqlplus system variable pagesizevalue is set to a non default
value in glogin.sql or login.sql oracle files, the ECMT Oracle toolkit
package will fail to start during package startup.
Known problems
This section describes a known problem for the HP Serviceguard Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit
version B.07.00.01. However, this is subject to change without notice. For the latest information

QXCR1000844710: Package failover fails when a database is in the backup mode. The fix will
be incorporated in the future version of the HP Serviceguard Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit.
QXCR1001276550: Issues while installing ECMT B.07.00.01 ISU bundle and patch together.
The fix will be incorporated in the future version of the HP Serviceguard Enterprise Cluster Master
Toolkit.
