The HP Serviceguard Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit (ECMT) is a set of templates and scripts that
allows configuration of Serviceguard packages for Internet servers and for the third-party database
management systems.
NOTE:
• Packages created with ECMT B.07.00.01 Oracle toolkit can co-exist with SGeRAC A.11.19
and A.11.20 packages.
• If the version of HP Serviceguard in the High Availability OE (HA OE) or Data Center (DC
OE) is not A.11.19 or A.11.20, then you must upgrade to HP Serviceguard version A.11.19
or A.11.20.

The HP Serviceguard Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit (T1909BA) version B.07.00.01 is released
in the following ways:
For HP-UX 11i v3:
• HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite Version A.03.02 with CVM/CFS 5.0.1 and
pre-enabled for A.04.01 with CVM/CFS 5.1 SP1.
• High Availability Operating Environment (HA OE) and Data Center Operating Environment
(DC OE), Application Release (AR), March 2012 or later.
What’s new in this version
ECMT version B.07.00.01, patch PHSS_43425 includes the following:
• Allows user to configure a DB2 instance user for start and stop operations of the DB2 instance.
• Support for avoiding package failure if there is a temporary database error.
• Support for starting Oracle database through ECMT Oracle toolkit package, even if the
database is in backup mode.
• ECMT Samba toolkit to make the SMBD_PID_FILE and the NMBD_PID_FILE attributes
optional in the package configuration file.
• Provide support for Sybase ASE version 15.7 ESD#2 and Sybase ASE version 15.7 ESD#4.
The Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit version B.07.00.01 includes the following:
• Support for cluster verification for the DB2 and Sybase toolkit.
• A new toolkit, HP Serviceguard Toolkit for EnterpriseDB PPAS.
• Support for Oracle Services in the ECMT Oracle DB Toolkit.
NOTE: You must first install ECMT version B.07.00.01 ISU bundle and then install ECMT patch
PHSS_43268 or PHSS_43425. Do not try to install ECMT version B.07.00.01 ISU bundle along
with ECMT patch PHSS_43268 or PHSS_43425.
