The parameters ASM_DISKGROUP, ASM_VOLUME_GROUP, ASM_HOME, ASM_USER,
ASM_SID, and KILL_ASM_FOREGROUNDS must be set only for a database package using
ASM. For more information on ASM, see “Supporting Oracle ASM Instance and Oracle
Database with ASM” (page 28).
After the Serviceguard environment is set up, each clustered Oracle instance must have the
following files in the related package directory. For example, the ORACLE_TEST0 package,
located at /etc/cmcluster/pkg/ORACLE_TEST0, must contain the following files:
