Halting packages
To halt a package, run the following command:
# cmhaltpkg <package_name>
Deleting packages
To delete a package from the cluster, run the following command:
cmdeleteconf -p <package_name>
This command prompts for a verification, before deleting the files, unless you use the -f option.
Troubleshooting
This section explains some of the problem scenarios that you might encounter while working with
the HP Serviceguard Toolkit for EnterpriseDB PPAS in a Serviceguard cluster.
Recommended ActionPossible CauseProblem Scenario

Limitations
This section lists the limitations of HP Serviceguard Toolkit for EnterpriseDB PPAS in a Serviceguard
cluster:
• If multiple EnterpriseDB instances are configured, you cannot use the shared storage to keep
the EnterpriseDB binaries. If you are configuring multiple instances of EnterpriseDB, HP
recommends that you keep the EDB binaries only on a local storage.
• The toolkit does not support the legacy style configuration. Hence, EnterpriseDB cannot be
packaged in the legacy style, although some toolkits in the ECMT support the legacy style of
packaging.
• The HP Serviceguard Toolkit for EnterpriseDB PPAS does not support the legacy style
configuration, therefore, the Configuration directory operation mode operation is also not
supported.
• The HP Serviceguard Toolkit for EnterpriseDB PPAS does not support the standby database
concept in EDB.
