Announcements
The Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit is a set of templates and scripts that allows configuration
of Serviceguard packages for internet servers as well as for third-party database management
systems. This unified set of high availability tools is being released on HP-UX 11i v2 and 11i v3.
Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit Version B.06.00 is integrated with Serviceguard Manager
Version B.03.00.
NOTE: If the version of HP Serviceguard in the High Availability OE (HA OE) or Data Center
(DC OE) is not A.11.19 or A.11.20, you must first upgrade to HP Serviceguard version A.11.19
or A.11.20. For more information on upgrading Serviceguard versions, see the following
documents:

The Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit is being released with the following product numbers:
HP-UX 11i v2 and 11i v3:
• Product T1909BA—version B.06.00—documentation, software and license
— For HP-UX 11i v3:
◦ HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite Version A.02.02.00 with CVM/CFS
5.0 and A.03.01.00 with CVM/CFS 5.0.1.
◦ High Availability Operating Environment (HA OE) and Data Center Operating
Environment (DC OE), Application Release (AR), September 2010 or later.
The Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit is available in the following ways:
• HP-UX Application Release
• Download from http://software.hp.com
• High Availability Operating Environment (HA OE) on HP-UX 11i v3.
• Data Center Operating Environment (DC OE) on HP-UX 11i v3.
• HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite Version A.02.02.00 with CVM/CFS 5.0 and
A.03.01.00 with CVM/CFS 5.0.1 on HP-UX 11i v3.
NOTE: If the toolkit is running on HP-UX 11i v2 or 11i v3, then either HP 9000 servers or HP
Integrity Servers are supported.
Follow the instructions in the specific README file that accompanies each toolkit.
Toolkit Components
The toolkits included with the Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit have been restructured for ease
of use and maintainability. The structure contains the following components:
• The README file that contains specific information about how to use the Enterprise Cluster
Master Toolkit.
• A standard interface script (toolkit.sh) that links the toolkit to the Serviceguard package
control script.
• A configuration file for each toolkit that contains parameters you can use to customize the
toolkit for your specific environment.
