active-passive support on CVM/CFS comes with a caution/limitation that no attempts should be
made to start the same instance of Apache on any other node while an Apache instance is up on
one node.
NOTE: In both active-active and active-passive configurations, the HP Apache installation on all
nodes must reside on the shared CFS mount point.

Compatibility
The Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit requires the installation of supported versions of the
HP-UX operating system together with Serviceguard.
The following are compatible versions with the Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit version B.05.00:
• HP-UX 11i v2 and 11i v3
• Serviceguard versions A.11.18 and A.11.19
• HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite Version A.02.00 on HP-UX 11i v2 and 11i v3

NOTE: SGeRAC requires the corresponding version of Serviceguard.
NOTE: The Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit does not support Oracle 10g RAC and 11g
RAC. Instead, use the SGeRAC toolkit.
For creating a modular package on Serviceguard version A.11.18, additional platform specific
patches PHSS_40988 (on HP-UX 11iv2), PHSS_40989 (on HP-UX 11iv3) or later should be
installed.
At time of publication version B.05.00 of the Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit supports the
above versions of Serviceguard and HP-UX. Check the Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit
support matrix to see if more recent versions of these products have been certified with
B.05.00.
10gR2 RAC and 11g RAC requires the SGeRAC Toolkit. For more information on the SGeRAC
