Table 2 identifies the rehearsal packages to be used for the recovery groups, inv_rac10g_recgp,
sales_rac9i_recgp_1, sales_rac9i_recgp_2, and billing_recgp. This section describes the procedures
to configure the rehearsal packages on the recovery Houston cluster.

Note: Starting with Continentalclusters version A.08.00, packages in Continentalclusters can be configured as modular
packages. HP recommends the use of modular style packages.
Configuring Continentalclusters rehearsal packages as modular
packages
With Continentalclusters version A.08.00, packages specified as rehearsal packages in recovery
groups can be configured as modular packages. These packages normally use all the modules
that are used to create the recovery package. However, when using any of the pre-integrated
physical replication solutions, the replication technology specific Continentalclusters module must
not be included.
For example, in a Continentalclusters configuration using Continuous Access P9000 or XP, the
recovery package must be created with dts/ccxpca module. While creating the rehearsal package
for this recovery group, the dts/ccxpca module must not be included.
Complete the following procedure to create a modular rehearsal package using Continentalclusters
A.08.00:
1. Create a package configuration identical to the recovery package configuration but without any
Continentalclusters module.
2. Change the values of the following parameters:
a. package_name
b. package_ip
