Support for Complex Workloads using Site Aware Disaster Tolerant Architecture (SADTA)
Support for Site Aware Disaster Tolerant Architecture (SADTA) is available with
Continentalclusters Version A.08.00. SADTA is used for deploying complex
multi-instance workloads, such as Oracle RAC. Complex workloads are applications
that are configured using multiple interdependent failover and multi-node packages.

Support for Oracle 11gR2 as Single Instance and as RAC
Starting with this version, Continentalclusters supports Oracle 11gR2 single instance
database configured using Oracle ECM Toolkit. For more information on configuring

Support for Configuring Package Dependencies for Failover Recovery Packages
Starting with Continentalclusters Version A.08.00, a failover package configured as a
recovery package can have dependencies on other failover packages in the cluster.
Support for Serviceguard Features
The following Serviceguard features are not supported in version A.08.00.
• Package exclusion dependency
• Application Detach of site controller packages configured in the recovery groups
and the packages managed by that site controller instance
• Package Maintenance mode for site controller packages configured in the recovery
groups and the packages managed by that site controller instance
• Online reconfiguration of Site Controller module package parameters
