The Continentalclusters monitoring daemon sets improper permissions to the internal log files.

The Continentalclusters monitoring daemon does not gracefully handle failure when two
instances of it are started in the same node.

cmhaltnode fails on the recovery cluster's node where the monitor package (ccmonpkg)
and recovery packages are running
• What is the problem?
When cmhaltnode command is executed on a node belonging to the recovery cluster that
has recovery and monitor packages running, it fails with the following error message on the
console:
Cannot enable package <recovery_package_name> : Disallowed by the
ContinentalClusters product
cmhaltnode: command failed
The following message can also be seen in the /var/adm/cmconcl/logs/checkpkg.log
file :
Cannot determine whether the recovery group <recovery_group_name>
is in maintenance mode. The monitor package is down.
