ERROR: The Product is not installed.
• What is the workaround?
Ensure that the version of HP-UX Distributed Systems Administration Utilities installed
is greater than or equal to C.01.00.11 and the version of HP-UX Secure Shell
installed is greater than or equal to A.04.50.021.
Continentalclusters does not support OpenSSH
• What is the problem?
Continentalclusters does not get installed when HP-UX Secure Shell is not installed.
Hence, Continentalclusters cannot be used on any supported version of OpenSSH.
• What is the workaround?
Complete the following steps:
1. If HP-UX Secure Shell is not installed, then install HP-UX SecureShell version
greater than A.04.50.021.
2. Install Continentalclusters version A.08.00.
3. Create a link from /usr/bin/ssh to the path where OpenSSH is installed.
4. Completely stop HP-UX SecureShell by running the /sbin/init.d/secsh
stop command.
5. Remove any S and K links for HP-UX SecureShell from the /sbin/rc*.d
directories.
6. Make sure Continentalclusters user conclusr has permission to execute
OpenSSH.
7. Distribute the ssh keys using the csshsetup command as documented in
Designing Disaster Recovery HA Clusters Using Metrocluster and
Continentalclusters, April 2011 (5900-1484) available at http://www.hp.com/
go/hpux-serviceguard-docs —> HP Serviceguard Continentalclusters.
Continentalclusters commands may output a misleading error message
• What is the problem?
When Continentalclusters command is executed, it may fail with a misleading error
message. For example, when cmcheckconcl is executed, it may fail with the
following message:# cmcheckconcl -v -C CC.ascii Parsing the configuration file
.......Done Analyzing the configuration . Error - Cannot apply configuration. Reason
: No cluster by the Name <clustername>
