What’s In this Version
Continentalclusters employs semi-automatic failover of Serviceguard
packages from one cluster to another following a cluster event that
indicates serious disruption of service on one of the clusters. The product
consists of a set of configuration, management commands, and a set of
daemons that monitors and sends notification of cluster events.
The A.06.01 version includes the following features:
• Supported on HP-UX 11i v3
• Monitoring configuration template files of daemon packages is
upgraded to Serviceguard A.11.17.01. When you upgrade to this
version of Continentalclusters, you must upgrade the monitoring
package configuration using the templates supplied with this
version.
• The Oracle 10 RAC package configuration templates supplied in
version A.05.01 are no longer supported. As a result, after installing,
the Oracle RAC scripts will no longer be available in
/opt/cmconcl/scripts folder. Use the SGeRAC toolkit to configure
the Oracle RAC database in the cluster.
IMPORTANT With this version of Continentalclusters, the Serviceguard Storage
Management Suite with CFS and CVM functionality is not supported.
