Using Secure Path persistence software
After you have rebooted the system, you can find symbolic links to real devices in
the /dev/spdev directory. These links were created by the Secure Path
Persistence Software (sps), a LUN persistence program written to work with
Secure Path. All disk operations should be done via these links and not the real
device name. For a detailed explanation of sps and LUN persistence, refer to
Fibre Channel Device Software” on page 113.
