autopath help command
The autopath help command lists all of the autopath commands. It also displays syntax of an
autopath command and its usage.
Syntax:
# autopath help [command]
Example:
# autopath help
usage: autopath <command>
command:
add : add a LUN/Array-Type to SecurePath's control. Addition
will happen only after execution of
'autopath discover' command
delete : delete LUN/Array-Type from the SecurePath's control
discover : discover the newly added device(s) and also recognize
the status of old device
display : display accessible storage information
set : set SecurePath configuration parameters
set_lbpolicy : set load balancing policy
set_prefpath : set preferred path
retrieve : retrieve the persistence setting
recover : start the recover deamon to recover the failed devices
help : display this help message
Example:
# autopath help discover
description: discover the newly added device and also recognize
the status of old device
usage:
autopath discover [option]
options:
ON : Enable the auto discover devices feature
OFF : Disable the auto discover devices feature
Example:
# autopath help add
description: enables addition of a LUN from unattached-list to
Secure Path's device list. LUN is brought under Secure Path's
control only after execution of the autopath discover command
