6. Run the autopath discover and autopath retrieve command to complete the upgrade
and to get all the persistence settings.
NOTE:
Configuration setting are migrated across upgrades only for 3.0F and later releases. The configuration
settings are lost while migrating from versions prior to Secure Path 3.0F.
NOTE:
For XP arrays: Starting with Secure Path 3.0F SP2, the command autopath display provides array ID
in decimal (1005-5) form, as against displaying the array ID in hexadecimal (2747) format in the
earlier releases.
Removing Secure Path
You can remove Secure Path by using the HP SD utility. When you remove Secure Path, all files
(including configuration files) are removed.
Complete the steps below to remove Secure Path from your system:
1. Log on to the HP-UX system as superuser (root).
2. Run the swremove command from the command line as follows:
# swremove -x autoreboot=true HPswsp (for HP-UX 11i v1.0)
# swremove HPswsp (for HP-UX 11i v2.0)
3. Alternatively, you can launch the interactive session of swremove and the select HPswsp HP
StorageWorks Secure Path Driver and Utilities for Active-Active disk arrays product for removal.
The system reboots after removal is completed (HP-UX 11i v1.0 only).
Command line interface
You can use the Secure Path command line interface (CLI) only on those hosts that are connected to
devices with the HPswsp driver installed.
