NOTE:
The PID file must be in the local hard disk.
On RHEL, the default PID file is /var/run/httpd/
httpd.pid.
On SLES, the default PID file is /var/run/

Configure your Serviceguard package with the
appropriate values for your environment.
Apache toolkit does not support online modification
of this attribute.
The time interval in seconds to monitor the Apache server
instance. The default value is 30.
MONITOR_INTERVAL
The number of trials attempted by the toolkit script to
check the Apache server daemon before giving up and
exiting. The default value is 0.
RETRY_TIMES
The volume group created for this package.vg
This is the file system for the database.fs_name
For example: /dev/vg01/lvol1
This is the filesystem directory, which is Extended 2.fs_directory
For example: /shared/apache1
3. Validate the configuration using the cmcheckconf command:
# cmcheckconf -P pkg_apache.conf
4. Create the package using the cmapplyconf command, if the cmcheckconf command does
not report any errors:
# cmapplyconf -P pkg_apache.conf
5. To view the package details, run:
# cmviewcl
6. To enable package switching and start the package refer Managing packages. (page 35).
Once the package starts, it starts an Apache server instance comprising of the Apache daemon,
httpd, which spawns a number of sub-processes to handle numerous http requests. It also
launches the Apache monitor script.
