EMC symmetrix software requirements
• EMC Solutions Enabler versions 7610 or later.
• RDF Enginuity Consistency Assist (RDF-ECA) feature of Solutions Enabler must be enabled to
create Consistency groups.
Installing Metrocluster/SRDF
1. Install the Metrocluster with SRDF for Linux B.01.00.00 rpm to install Metrocluster SRDF for
Linux product.
For Red Hat:

# rpm –i
nl
serviceguard-metrocluster-emcsrdf-B.01.00.00-0.rhel5.x86_64.rpm
(RHEL 5.x only)
nl
# rpm –i
nl
serviceguard-metrocluster-emcsrdf-B.01.00.00-0.rhel6.x86_64.rpm
(RHEL 6.x only)
For SLES:

# rpm –i
nl
serviceguard-metrocluster-emcsrdf-B.01.00.00-0.sles11.x86_64.rpm
The software will reside in the following directories:

2. Install the Metrocluster Add-ons B.01.00.20 rpm to install Metrocluster Add-ons for Linux.
