3. When you have answered the questions, the package will be created and started
on the primary node.
Using Serviceguard Manager to Configure the Package clog for Consolidated Logging
1. Log in to the System Management Home page, and then from the System
Management button bar, click Tools, then select Serviceguard Manager from
inside the Serviceguard Cluster box.
2. From the Serviceguard Manager main page, from the Configuration pull-down
menu, select Configure Log Consolidation Tool.
3. Enter the required information then click OK. The Operations Log appears so you
can trace the success or failure of this operation.
Viewing the Consolidated Logs
1. Log into the System Management Home page, and then from the System
Management button bar, click Logs, then select System Log Viewer.
2. Select a log to view from the main Select tab.
Use the Filter tab to specify filter expressions to search for specific entries, and
then choose the Display tab to display the contents of the log. For additional
information on using the System Log Viewer, use the on-line help available from
system log viewer screen.
• To view the consolidated log from Serviceguard Manager main page, select the
Alerts & Logs pull-down menu and selectDisplay Consolidated Syslogs.
• To view the consolidated package log from Serviceguard Manager main page,
select a package, and from the Alerts & Logs pull-down menu, select Display
Consolidated package log.
Uninstalling Serviceguard for Linux
To uninstall Serviceguard, run rpm -e on all the rpms you have installed. For example,
to uninstall the Serviceguard rpm itself:
rpm -e serviceguard-A.11.18.00-0.rhel4.ia64.rpm
