3. Restart SMH to integrate SMH with Serviceguard Manager:

Installing and Configuring the Distributed Systems Administration Utilities (DSAU)
This section explains how to get, install and configure consolidated logs for a cluster,
and set up a shared storage location.
NOTE: To use DSAU, you must install it on all the nodes in the cluster. DSAU for
Red Hat 5 must be downloaded from HP’s software distribution site; see “Installation
Overview” (page 57).

Management.
1. From the HP Serviceguard for Linux CD, go to <linux_
version>/SGManager/<architecture>, for example, SLES10/SGManager/
IA32
2. Install DSAU by running the following command:
rpm -Uhv hpdsau-1.4-1<linux version>.<architecture>.rpm
For example:
rpm -Uhv hpdsau-1.4-1.sles10.IA32.rpm
3. Add the following to your path in /etc/profile:
/opt/dsau/sbin:/opt/dsau/bin
4. To use the System Log Viewer tool, restart SMH:
/etc/init.d/hpsmhd restart
Using the Command Line to Set Up a Shared Storage Location for the Consolidated Logs
You only need to set up a shared storage for the consolidated logs on one system.
