NOTE: For Red Hat 5 you need to install additional software from your
distribution source (for example the Red Hat 5 installation CDs):
• For Red Hat 5 (i386) locate and install libXp-1.0.0-8.i386.rpm, for
example:
rpm -Uhv libXp-1.0.0-8.i386.rpm
• For Red Hat 5 (IA64) locate and install libXp-1.0.0-8.ia64.rpm, for
example
rpm -Uhv libXp-1.0.0-8.ia64.rpm
• For Red Hat 5 (x86-64) locate and install libXp-1.0.0-8.i386.rpm, for
example
rpm -Uhv libXp-1.0.0-8.i386.rpm
If you do not install these rpms, you will not be able to launch the Serviceguard
Manager plug-in.
2. System Management Homepage (SMH) version:
• For ProLiant platforms: 2.1.7-168 or higher; 2.1.7-177 or higher on Red Hat 5.
• For Integrity platforms: 2.1.11-07 or higher.
3. Java software:
• HP recommends Sun Java JDK 1.6 Update 12 or later. Java 1.4.2 Update 16 or
later and Java 1.5 are supported.
4. Apache Tomcat version:
• For ProLiant platforms: hpsmh-tomcat-1.0-11 or later
• For Integrity platforms: hpsmh-tomcat-1.1-09 or later
5. At least one cluster member node with Serviceguard version A.11.18 and
Serviceguard Manager B.01.01 installed.
6. Distributed Systems Administration Utilities (DSAU) for consolidating cluster and
package logs. You must also set up and configure the clog package to consolidate
cluster and package logs. See “Installing and Configuring the Distributed Systems
Administration Utilities (DSAU)” (page 62).
