• Serviceguard Manager B.01.00 and System Management Homepage (SMH) must
be installed on each node of each cluster running Serviceguard version A.11.17.01
(for HP-UX only).
• Either the WBEM Provider or the SNMP sub-agent must be installed on each node
of each cluster running Serviceguard for Linux version A.11.18.

“Installing the WBEM Provider 2.0” (page 56)
If the above conditions are met, HP SIM can discover clusters running Serviceguard
A.11.17.01 or later (HP-UX) or A.11.18 (Linux).
For clusters running an earlier Serviceguard version, you can use HP SIM to launch
Serviceguard Manager A.05.01, and then select a host name from a cluster. Serviceguard
Manager will discover all the clusters on the subnet.
To manage clusters running Serviceguard A.11.17.01 or later (HP-UX) or A.11.18 (Linux)
via HP SIM, proceed as follows.
1. Enter the standard URL “https://[full hostname of SIM
server]:50000/”For example https://myserver.cup.hp.com:50000/

2. When the Systems Insight Manager login screen appears, enter your login credentials
and click Sign In
3. From the left-hand panel, expand Cluster by Type.
