Known Problems and Limitations
This section provides a list of known problems and limitations as known to HP at the time of
publication. If workarounds are available, they are included.
Known Problems and Limitations in Serviceguard
• QXCR1001207446: cmcld core, cdb_reform_is_hung
• QXCR1001222620: Package halt behavior for modular packages
• QXCR1001225435: Unable to connect to QS at IP address and port 1238
• QXCR1001220269: Apply of iptables rule to open hacl-hb (udp) port
fails. iptables rule to open the UDP port hacl-hb fails. Without
opening the hacl-hb(udp) port by applying the iptables rule, the
cluster will not come up on a Red Hat 6 system running with default
firewall rules configured.
Work around: The following entry needs to be populated in the
/etc/services on the system to which iptables rules have to be
configured.

• QXCR1001207290: After rolling upgrade all the nodes to Serviceguard
A.11.20.00 completes, any attempt to change the quorum disk to point
to a different physical volume will fail with the following message.
Online quorum disk change is not supported until second cmapplyconf
command after Rolling Upgrade. cmapplyconf: Unable to apply the
configuration
Work around: After rolling upgrade all the nodes to Serviceguard 11.20
completes,run a cmgetconf and then run cmapplyconf on the
configuration file obtained from cmgetconf.
Next modify the cluster configuration file, to make quorum disk
point to new disk and then do an cmapplyconf of the new cluster
configuration file.
