At the location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\
CrashControl\CrashDumpEnabled, set the registry key to 0x1 (instead of 0x2).
Host operating systems and multipath drivers

multipath drivers. Site registration is required. Also see “Operating system issues” on page 12 for
issues with supported operating systems.
To obtain the HP MPIO Full Feature DSM and DSM Manager:
1. Go to http://www.hp.com and click Support & Drivers.
2. In the Step 1 area, select the Download drivers and software (and firmware) option. The Step 2
field becomes available.
3. In the “For product” field of the Step 2 area, enter DSM and click Go. A screen listing other
multipath software for Windows is displayed.
4. Click Windows MPIO DSM for SAN Virtualization Services Platform.
The following auto-failover and recovery tools are not supported:
• Cluster Extensions (CLX)
• Disaster Tolerant Cluster Services (DTCS)
• MetroCluster
To obtain the IBM AIX MPIO ODM for SVSP:
1. Go to http://www.hp.com/go/svsp and click Support & Documents.
2. Click Download drivers and software.
3. In the Search field at the top of the page, enter AIX ODM and click the search arrows.
4. The search results should list the IBM AIX MPIO ODM for SVSP high in the rankings. Click on the
link in the search rankings to take you to the web page.
Devices supported
See the HP Single Point of Connectivity Knowledge (SPOCK) website at http://www.hp.com/storage/
spock for approved driver and firmware versions for host bus adapters used with AIX, HP-UX, Linux,
Microsoft Windows Server, Sun Solaris, and VMware operating systems. Site registration is required.
