ECFM must connect to an McDATA switch to manage a mixed fabric. DCFM 10.3.1 or earlier must connect to a B-series
switch to manage a mixed fabric.

The M4700 is no longer supported in a FICON fabric because it is supported with M-EOSc 9.9.7 and earlier only.

DCFM Enterprise 10.3.2 or 10.4.1 can manage a mixed fabric when connected directly to either an McDATA switch
or a B-series switch.
