The 16 Gb/s SFP autonegotiates to 16, 8, and 4 Gb/s. The 8 Gb/s SFP+ autonegotiates to 8, 4, and 2 Gb/s. The 4 Gb/s SFP
autonegotiates to 4, 2, and 1 Gb/s.

The FC8-48 blades support FICON in DC SAN Backbone Directors and DC04 SAN Directors with FOS 6.2.0e or later. The Virtual
Fabric feature must be enabled if the FC8-48 blade is installed in a DC SAN Backbone Director, regardless of whether the blade
is used for FICON connectivity. The Virtual Fabric requirement does not apply to the DC04 SAN Director.

The FA4-18, FS8-18, and FCOE10-24 blades do not support FICON. Do not install these blades in any FICON director.
