The host definitions for the CUs in Figure 9 (page 26) contain the following routing information:
Control Unit = 3000Control Unit = 2000Control Unit = 1000
Path = CHPID 01Path = CHPID 01Path = CHPID 01
Link = 0222Link = 0221Link = 0220
Figure 10 (page 27) shows a FICON SAN that uses 2-byte destination link addressing, but has
two CUs attached to switch 01. Like Figure 9 (page 26), the paths to CUs 1000, 2000, and 3000
use 2-byte destination link addressing. Therefore, CUs 0800 and 0900 must also use 2-byte
destination link addressing, even though they are attached to the same director as CHPID 01.
