The host definitions for the CUs in Figure 8 (page 25) contain the following routing information:

NOTE: Switch IDs, CHPIDs, and port numbers configured on the mainframe are hexadecimal,
not decimal. Switch IDs configured on the directors are decimal.
Figure 9 (page 26) shows a FICON SAN using 2-byte destination link addressing. There is one
CHPID (01), one entry director (switch 01), and one cascaded FICON director (switch 02). The
paths to the CUs are defined on CHPID 01 using the switch ID and the port of the second director
in the Link statement. CU 1000 uses port 20 on switch 02, CU 2000 uses port 21, and CU 3000
uses port 22. CHPID 01 uses port 10 on switch 01.
