A RISS remote authorization user must be in the system for replication statistics to
be displayed properly in the Replication view. A user account is automatically
created for this purpose, with the username of RISSAuthorizationUser and a
randomly-generated password.
You can change the password for this account. You can also create a new RISS
remote authorization user account and password if you want. If you create a new
account, be sure to clear this check box in the RISSAuthorizationUser account, or
delete RISSAuthori zationUser f rom the system.
Managing groups
Use the Group panel to view RISS group information.
It is extremely unlikely that you would use the Account Manager to add a group or edit group information.
Group membership is managed entirely by the Windows Active Director y or Domino LDAP; there is no
provision to change membership of a group within the Account Manager. Maintenance of groups
and group membership is performed with dynamic account synchronization (DAS). (See Account
Synchronization on page 41.)
