configuration of the OWARISS site in the IIS Manager.) If the maximum attachment size is exceeded,
the retrieval times out.
If you anticipate attachments to be larger than these limits, the default ASP time-out can be adjusted.
1. Open the IIS Manager.
2. Navigate to and right-click the OWARISS site.
3. Select Properties.
4. Click Configuration.
5. Select the Options tab.
6. Look for the ASP Script Timeout adjustment.
The default is 90 seconds. The setting can be increased to allow larger attachments.
7. After changing the setting, click OK.
It is not necessary to restart IIS.
Browser functionality
OWA has two modes of operation, Premium and Basic. The mo de of operation and configuration is an
enterprise decision and is described in the Microsoft OWA install manual. Premium opera tion has the
look and fe
el of MS-Outlook. Basic operation is similar, but might have reduced functionality.
Multi-user suppor t
Any number of users can access their email through OWA at the same time. Limits are only dependent
on the s ize and performance of the underlying MS-Exchange ser vers and corresponding hosting web
site. Because this is a web access script, there are expected small delays that typically o ccur during
web site a ccess.

Requirements for gateway server configuration
To configure the HP gateway server to enable Lotus Domino Administration selective archiving, you might
need to perform the following tasks:
1. Configure the LDAP ser vice. Because LDAP is not mandatory for Domino mail servers, you
might need to enable this service.

After you enable LDAP for the gateway server, clients and LDAP-enabled applications can query
the server and get information about entries in the Domino Directory.
