How To Set the Default Archiving Behavior (On/Off)
After you turn automatic archiving on or off, the status (
Running
or
Stopped
) of
the Active-Archive monitor remains the same until you explicitly change it.
Even if you log off or restart your computer, the most recent status is saved
as your preferred setting and restored when you log on again. Thus, turning
archiving on or off sets the default behavior of automatic archiving.
