Requirements
The Printing Tools and DTC MasterWorks fonts have the follow-
ing system requirements:
• Operating System — Microsoft Windows Vista, XP, Win-
dows 2000, Windows NT 4 (with Service Pack 6), or Win-
dows 95/98/Me.
• Network protocol — to connect to the RIP over your local
area network, you must have a network protocol installed on
your Windows workstation: TCP/IP, NetBEUI, or Novell Net-
Ware. (Windows XP does not support NetBEUI.) For instruc-
tions on installing the appropriate protocol in Windows, see
your operating system online help or network administrator.
• Print Server — before you install the Printing Tools, the RIP
must be installed and properly configured, according to the
procedures in the RIP User Guide. In particular, the port(s)
you plan to use.
