In the list of PPDs, there will appear to be some duplicate entries. For example, “DM 4000 Metric” appears twice. Due to a software bug in the Printing Tools Installer, both PostScript Level 2 and Level 3 PPDs are being installed, regardless of what is selected during the installation process. This issue will be corrected in a subsequent release of the printing tools.

If you have applications that make their own PPD configurations, such as QuarkXPress 4 and newer, it is required. 1. Insert the ColorSpan Legacy Printing Tools CD. 2. Double-click the CD icon. 3. Double-click the “OS 9” folder. 4. Double-click the “Install” icon to launch the installer. 5.

Files with “CMRIP” are for use with ColorSpan Legacy RIPStation print servers and the ColorMark Legacy Personal Software RIP, which have a smaller number of fonts built-in.
